7/14/2021

Lisbon, 14thof July 2021 – Adentis registered 47% growth in the first half of 2021, with a total turnover of €3.9M. Accompanying the increase in turnover is the number of professionals. It already has 200 employees, a number that it expects to surpass by the end of this year. The positive results reflect an increase in confidence and investment on the part of economic agents in the digitization of services and products. They prove the experience and suitability of the services offered by the Innovation and Technology company for this and future phases.

Adentis restructured its staff with three Business Managers and two IT Recruiters to contribute to continued growth and sustainability. These professionals joined the headquarters teams in Lisbon and Porto during April, May, and June. It enables the company to improve processes with current and future partners, and it also promotes greater internal proximity to engineering and IT professionals. In the first half of 2021, the launch of digital communication events was essential to unite the team at a time when remote work remained the norm.

Adentis plans to hire 100 IT professionals (software engineers, quality assurance specialists, and business intelligence analysts). The signals received from the market are reliable. With vaccination taking place at an accelerated pace, nationally and internationally, the economy is evolving positively with many technological projects to be resumed. The company's performance is in line with the goals set for 2021: to surpass the previous turnover by 19% and to have a team of more than 200 employees. By the end of the year, a new office will be opened in Porto to support the team that operates in the city and the northern region.

João Gomes, Chief Operations Officer at ADENTIS, says: "The double-digit growth in turnover in the first half of the year demonstrates the increase in confidence on the part of the business community and the quality of our offer and team. Faced with the challenges of distancing, we developed initiatives that triggered new levels of proximity with our partners and professionals. We face the second semester with positivity, setting the goal of growing together."
